มะขาม มะหมาหนุ่ม สัญชาติไทยหลังอาน หน่วยก้านดี โดนฤทธิ์นางเหมียวแมวตัวโปรดของเจ้านายทำพิษ จนเป็นเหตุให้โดนเตะโด่งออกจากบ้าน ถูกตัดหางปล่อยวัด โชชัดโชเชจนได้พบกับ บรรดามะหมาที่ถูกทิ้งให้ชอกช้ำ ลุงกาแฟ เก่ง เปี๊ยก เซ็กซี่ และ พิกุล กลุ่มสุนัขที่ถูกทอดทิ้งเช่นเดียวกับมะขามต่างต้องทนลำบาก เพราะอาหารที่จะประทังชีวิตก็หายากขึ้นทุกที ทั้งหมดตัดสินใจที่จะข้ามถนนไปสู่แดนสวรรค์-สุนัขวดี แต่แล้วมะขามก็เกือบได้ไปสวรรค์จริงๆ เพราะระหว่างข้ามอย่างไม่ทันระวัง ก็เกือบโดนรถชน โชคดีที่ลุงกาแฟช่วยไว้ได้แต่โชคร้ายของลุงกาแฟที่โดนรถชน จนขาเจ็บ ด้วยเหตุบังเอิญ มาขามหนุ่มผู้รู้สึกผิดเต็มประตู ก็ได้รู้วิธีที่จะพาทุกคนข้ามไปยังสุนัขวดีได้อย่างปลอดภัย แต่เรื่องมันก็ไม่ง่ายอย่างที่คิดไว้... Then, Makham and his buddies set on a journey searching for the land where they hope to be the new place for living with happiness forever.
